When I look around me…

Posted by On July - 18 - 2009

When I look around me and everything I see- the sky, trees, birds–my loving mother -it’s hard to suppress the love that fills my heart. I am so filled with gratitude for God, even my loving, eternal Father in Heaven, and that He has sent me here on Earth for a reason and a purpose- a divine purpose -to spread His true and everlasting Gospel to all of His beloved children. He has given me so much knowledge of the Truth- the truth of all of it. Every single question- and I exaggerate not -has been answered by His Holy Spirit, who dwells in me even now. And I know with out a doubt, and I could never deny, that all things shall be known unto me by the Spirit, as long as I am righteous. I am so happy. It is incredible- all of it. To know that I am loved so much- to an infinite and eternal degree -by my Heavenly Father, that He has entrusted the knowledge of His gospel to me. And I want every single person to have what I have. I was looking forward to a relaxing flight during which I could finish up some reading, write a few letters, look out the window whenever I felt like it, and spend some quality time with my iPod; and above all, I was looking forward to being... Read the rest of this entry »

Blessing for those that Love Him

Posted by On January - 15 - 2009

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 1:9 Our Heavenly Father loves us. He wants to bless us. He is willing to fill our cups to overflowing. In order to receive the fullness of His blessings we must do all that He requires. This is how we demonstrate our love for Him. “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15 Keeping the “Big 10″ commandments is not enough. More commandments are listed out for us in the scriptures, others are given us during general conference by the mouth of living prophets and still others are personally revealed to us by the Spirit of revelation. The more we align ourselves with the Lord the more our Heavenly Father can bless us.  Read More →
