I Admonish You to Go Often to the Temple

Posted by ksummers On November - 28 - 2009

Now, my brothers and sisters, we have built temples throughout the world and will continue to do so. To you who are worthy and able to attend the temple, I would admonish you to go often. The temple is a place where we can find peace. There we receive a renewed dedication to the gospel and a strengthened resolve to keep the commandments. What a privilege it is to be able to go to the temple, where we may experience the sanctifying influence of the Spirit of the Lord. And not only this , but those things which have never been revealed from the foundation of the... Read the rest of this entry »

Blessing of Temple Work

Posted by ksummers On December - 15 - 2008

“In a spirit of love and consecration, we must extend ourselves in the work of redemption of the dead through service in the temples of the Lord. This service more nearly approaches the divine work of the Son of God, who gave His life for others, than does any other work of which I know.” President Gordon B. Hinckley, Ensign May 1983, 8 AKPC_IDS += "106550,";Popularity: unranked [?] Read More →
