Video: Dayton’s Legs

Posted by On April - 8 - 2011

The Mormon Messages video “Dayton’s Legs” is a moving story of a 13-year-old deacon in Arizona who pushed himself to the limit so that his friend, who has cerebral palsy, could participate with him in a triathlon. Please share this inspiring Easter... Read the rest of this entry »

I hope this story touches your hearts as much as it touched mine. Well done, Shannon! You are a wonderful example to us all. Born with cerebral palsy, Shannon struggled her entire life with writing and speaking…until she decided to go on a mission for the Mormon Church. Listen to her remarkable story! This video was created by Shannon’s brother Seth Adam Smith as an entry in the Mormon Messages International Video Contest – sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Seth says, “When I made the video, I hoped that it would at least be a finalist because I wanted her story to be seen and heard by as many people as possible. Shannon is very thrilled by all of this and I couldn’t be happier for her.” Please support Shannon by voting for her video on LDS.org. Click HERE to visit the page, then click on “Professional (10 Videos)” and scroll down. Shannon’s video is in that category and you can vote for her there. Anne... Read the rest of this entry »
