Ye Shall Not Cast Him Out

“Nevertheless, ye shall not cast him out of your synagogues, or your places of worship, for unto such shall ye continue to minister; for ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I shall heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them.” 3 Nephi 18:32 Sometimes one comes among us whose heart is not right. Christ tells us to not cast out this person, but to gently minister unto him. We do not know at what point he will change, but there is always the possibility that he will repent and turn unto Christ. Christ heals all that turn to him. Simplifying our Hearts

What does ‘Simplify Heart” really mean?I believe that we can change our outward surroundings — but that may be only a temporary fix unless we change our core beliefs or enhance our understanding of the deeper reason for all we do. In my reading and pondering I’ve often underlined scriptures with the word ‘heart’ in them. There are hard hearts, soft hearts, broken hearts, and willing hearts etc. Unless a heart is broken and/or softened — the outward changes are not a real reflection of inner-feelings. In all my studies over the years I’ve come to feel that the attitude of our hearts can change everything. When our heart has changed or healed — the manifestations of that will be seen in the outward things that we do. Homes will start to heal, weight from stress and anxieties will be reduced and our daily living will start to have more order and peace.
