An excellent new diet book recently hit the stores, and I’d like to recommend it to readers today. The author, Tres Prier Hatch, lectures countrywide on food and healthy living, and is an experienced TV chef, caterer, and food educator for the University of Utah. Her book is titled, Miracle Pill and she has kindly offered to give away a copy to one lucky winner. See rules at the end of this post. Tres Hatch lost 110 using the principles in her book. It took a while, but was worth the consistent effort because now the weight stays off. She still loves to eat. In fact, she makes a statement on the book’s front cover, ”Eat what you want and stay trim forever.” Now that’s an offer few could resist! The ideas in this book are presented in such a way that they feel fresh and invigorating. Oh No, I have to wear that!by Candace E. Salimaposted 19 January 2009on Dream a little dream… So, my sister has convinced me to participate in her upcoming Twist ‘n Shout Spring Concert. This is my sister’s company and I’m so proud of her and I just couldn’t say no. Especially since this number was my idea. Hey, I’m a Mama Mia fan, what can I say. Loved the movie. Loved the music. So I opened my big mouth and told my sister she HAD to have the Super Trouper number at her next concert. That came back to bite me on my proverbial bottom! She asked if I’d sing the numbers, oh yeah, she threw in Dancing Queen, with her and another woman. I was worried, but I went ahead and said yes. I haven’t sung in public in over 10 years . . . well, I sang with my siblings at my father’s funeral, but I’m pretty sure that was it! I was worried about that until I saw the costume! Holy crud!
