Front and Back Stitches

Posted by On December - 15 - 2009

Unless pattern details instruct you otherwise, it’s usual to work crochet stitches under both loops of the stitches made on the previous row.

Working into Front:
when instructions tell you to work into the front of the stitches, inset the hook only under the front loops of the stitches on the previous row.

Working into Back:
Likewise, to work into the back of the stitches, inset the hook only under the back loops of stitches on the previous row.
